বহুল আলোচিত আয়নাঘর পরিদর্শনে গিয়েছেন অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের প্রধান উপদেষ্টা অধ্যাপক ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনূস। এ সময় তাঁর সঙ্গে ছিলেন দেশ-বিদেশের গণমাধ্যমের প্রতিনিধি ও ভুক্তভোগীদের পরিবার।
জানা গেছে, আজ বুধবার বেলা ১১টার দিকে আয়নাঘর পরিদর্শনে যান প্রধান উপদেষ্টা। প্রধান উপদেষ্টার জ্যেষ্ঠ সহকারী প্রেস সচিব ফয়েজ আহম্মদ এই তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছেন।
গত বৃহস্পতিবার (৬ ফেব্রুয়ারি) উপদেষ্টা পরিষদের বৈঠকে প্রধান উপদেষ্টার আয়নাঘর পরিদর্শনের সিদ্ধান্ত হয়।
উল্লেখ্য, ১৯ জানুয়ারি প্রধান উপদেষ্টার প্রেস উইং জানায়, গুম সংক্রান্ত তদন্ত কমিশন, প্রধান উপদেষ্টার সঙ্গে একটি বৈঠক করেছে। সে বৈঠকে প্রধান উপদেষ্টাকে গুমের ঘটনায় তদন্তের অগ্রগতি সম্পর্কে জানানো হয়। আর তখন বন্দিদের সেখানে রাখা হতো তা জয়েন্ট ইন্টারোগেশন সেল বা আয়নাঘর নামে পরিচিত। কমিশনের সদস্যদের আহ্বানেই সেসব স্থাপনা পরিদর্শনে গেছেন অন্তর্বর্তী সরকার প্রধান।
