সরকারি সফরে রোববার (০৬ এপ্রিল) রাশিয়া গমন করেছেন সেনাবাহিনী প্রধান জেনারেল ওয়াকার-উজ-জামান। রাশিয়া সফর শেষে তিনি আগামী ১০ এপ্রিল ২০২৫ তারিখে ক্রোয়েশিয়া গমন করবেন। সফরকালে তিনি রাশিয়া ও ক্রোয়েশিয়ার সামরিক ও বেসামরিক উচ্চপদস্থ কর্মকর্তাদের সাথে সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ এবং সামরিক বাহিনীর সংশ্লিষ্ট দ্বিপাক্ষিক সহযোগিতা উন্নয়নের লক্ষ্যে মতবিনিময় করবেন। এছাড়াও, সেনাপ্রধান কয়েকটি সামরিক স্থাপনা এবং সমরাস্ত্র কারখানা পরিদর্শন করবেন।
