পদ থেকে অব্যাহতি দেওয়া হয়েছে এনসিপির যুগ্ম সদস্যসচিব গাজী সালাউদ্দিন তানভীরকে। জেলা প্রশাসক নিয়োগে অবৈধভাবে হস্তক্ষেপ এবং জাতীয় শিক্ষাক্রম ও পাঠ্যপুস্তক বোর্ড (এনসিটিবি) এর পাঠ্যবই ছাপার কাগজে কমিশন বাণিজ্যের অভিযোগে তাঁকে অব্যাহতি দেওয়া হয়।
সোমবার (২১ এপ্রিল) এনসিপির যুগ্ম সদস্যসচিব (দফতর) সালেহ উদ্দিন সিফাত সাক্ষরিত এক বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়।
বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়, উপর্যুক্ত বিষয়ের প্রেক্ষিতে আপনাকে জানানো যাচ্ছে যে- ১১ মার্চ ২০২৫ ইং তারিখে জাতীয় দৈনিক ইনকিলাবে প্রকাশিত প্রতিবেদনে আপনার বিরুদ্ধে জেলা প্রশাসক নিয়োগে অবৈধভাবে হস্তক্ষেপ এবং জাতীয় শিক্ষাক্রম ও পাঠ্যপুস্তক বোর্ড (এনসিটিবি) এর পাঠ্যবই ছাপার কাগজে কমিশন বাণিজ্যের অভিযোগ উঠে এসেছে। এই বিষয়ে কেন্দ্রীয় শৃঙ্খলা কমিটির প্রধানের নিকট আগামী ০৭ (সাত) দিনের মধ্যে লিখিতভাবে যথাযথ ব্যাখ্যা প্রদান করতে এবং আপনাকে কেন দল থেকে স্থায়ীভাবে বহিষ্কার করা হবে না জানতে চেয়ে কারণ দর্শানোর জন্য জনাব মো. আহ্বায়ক নাহিদ ইসলাম ও সদস্যসচিব জনাব আখতার হোসেন নির্দেশ প্রদান করেছেন।
একইসাথে, সাংগঠনিক শৃঙ্খলা রক্ষার্থে প্রদত্ত পূর্ববর্তী মৌখিক সতর্কতা অমান্যের প্রেক্ষিতে শৃঙ্খলা কমিটির চূড়ান্ত প্রতিবেদন প্রকাশের পূর্ব পর্যন্ত আপনাকে দলের সকল দায়িত্ব ও কার্যক্রম থেকে আহ্বায়ক জনাব মো. নাহিদ ইসলাম ও সদস্যসচিব জনাব আখতার হোসেনের নির্দেশক্রমে অব্যাহতি প্রদান করা হলো।
