গাইবান্ধার সাবেক ৬এমপি সহ ১৫০জনের বিরূদ্ধে হত্যা মামলা

দশ মাস আগের ঘটনায় জাতীয় সংসদের গাইবান্ধার বিভিন্ন আসনের সাবেক ছয় এমপিসহ মোট ১৫০ জনকে আসামি করে একটি হত্যা মামলা দায়ের করা হয়েছে। মামলায় ৮৫জনের নাম উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে।
বৃহস্পতিবার (২২ মে) গাইবান্ধা সদর থানায় বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের গাইবান্ধার সদস্য সচিব বায়োজিদ বোস্তামি জীম বাদী হয়ে ঘটনার ১০ মাস পর এই মামলা দায়ের করেন।
মামলার আসামীদের মধ্যে রয়েছেন- গাইবান্ধা জেলা আওয়ামী লীগের সভাপতি আবু বকর সিদ্দিক, গাইবান্ধা-১ (সুন্দরগঞ্জ) আসনের সাবেক এমপি নাহিদ হাসান নিগার সুলতানা, গাইবান্ধা-২ (সদর) আসনের সাবেক এমপি শাহ সরোয়ার কবির ও সাবেক এমপি ও হুইপ মাহবুব আরা বেগম গিনি, গাইবান্ধা-৩ (সাদুল্লাপুর-পলাশবাড়ী) আসনের সাবেক এমপি উম্মে কুলসুম স্মৃতি, গাইবান্ধা-৪ (গোবিন্দগঞ্জ) আসনের সাবেক এমপি আবুল কালাম আজাদ ও গাইবান্ধা-৫ (ফুলছড়ি-সাঘাটা) আসনের সাবেক এমপি মাহমুদ হাসান রিপনসহ আওয়ামী লীগ ও অঙ্গসহযোগী সংগঠনের মোট ৮৫ জনকে আসামি করা হয়।
এজাহারে বাদী অভিযোগ করেন- গাইবান্ধা সরকারি কলেজ মাঠে ছাত্র-জনতার কর্মসূচি চলাকালে বিগত ২০২৪ সালের ১৪ জুলাই দুপুরে তাকে জোরপূর্বক অপহরণ করে জেলা ছাত্রলীগ সভাপতি মোঃ আসিফ সরকারের বাসায় নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়। সেখানে তাকে লোহার রড, হকিস্টিক ও বাঁশের লাঠি দিয়ে ব্যাপক মারধর করা হয়। পরে রাত ১০টার দিকে গলা চেপে হত্যার চেষ্টা চালানো হয়। এসময় তার চিৎকারে স্থানীয়রা ছুটে এলে হামলাকারীরা পালিয়ে যায়।
এছাড়া, একই বছরের ৪ আগস্ট বেলা ২টার দিকে বায়োজিদকে গাইবান্ধা ডিসি অফিসের সামনে থেকে পুনরায় ধরে জেলা পুলিশ সুপারের কার্যালয়ের গেটের সামনে নিয়ে গিয়ে মারধর করা হয়। পরে হামলাকারীরা “জয় বাংলা” শ্লোগান দিয়ে স্থান ত্যাগ করে। এছাড়া এসময় তার দিকে তাক করে রাবার বুলেটও ছোড়া হয়।
গাইবান্ধা সদর থানার ওসি শাহীনুর ইসলাম তালুকদার জানান, গাইবান্ধার বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের সদস্য সচিব বায়োজিদ বোস্তামি জীম বাদী হয়ে আজ বৃহস্পতিবার এই মামলাটি করেছেন। আসামিদের গ্রেপ্তারের জন্য পুলিশ অভিযান অব্যাহত রয়েছে।মামলায় উল্লেখিত অভিযোগগুলো খতিয়ে দেখা হচ্ছে।
