নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদক : মাদক আইনের মামলায় গ্রেফতার হওয়া আলোচিত চিত্রনায়িকা পরীমনিকে কাশিমপুর কারাগারে পাঠানো হয়েছে। দুই দফা রিমান্ড শেষে আদালতে হাজির করার পর শুক্রবার বিকেলে তাঁকে কারাগারে পাঠানোর আদেশ দেন আদালত।
আদালত সূত্র জানায়, দ্বিতীয় দফা রিমান্ড শেষে শুক্রবার তাঁকে ঢাকার চিফ মেট্রোপলিটন ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট আদালতে হাজির করা হয়। এসময় পরীমনির আইনজীবীরা তাঁর জামিন চেয়ে আবেদন করেন। আদালত শুনানি শেষে জামিন আবেদন নামঞ্জুর করে পরীমনিকে কারা হাজতে পাঠানোর আদেশ দেন। শুক্রবার সন্ধ্যা সাতটার দিকে পরীমণিকে প্রিজন ভ্যানে করে গাজীপুরের কাশিমপুর কেন্দ্রীয় মহিলা কারাগারে পাঠানো হয়েছে। কাশিমপুর কেন্দ্রীয় মহিলা কারাগারের কারা তত্ত্বাবধায়ক (ভারপ্রাপ্ত) আবদুল জলিল পরীমণিকে কারাগারে নেওয়ার বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেন।
