আট মাস পর নওফেল-নাছিরসহ ৩শ’ জনের বিরূদ্ধে হত্যা মামলা

সরকার পতন আন্দোলনে এক শ্রমিক নিহতের আট মাস পর বুধবার (৯এপ্রিল) তার পিতা চট্টগ্রাম নগরীর ডবলমুরিং থানায় হত্যা মামলা দায়ের করেছে। মামলায় সাবেক শিক্ষামন্ত্রী মহিবুল হাসান চৌধুরী নওফেল, মহানগর আওয়ামী লীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক আ জ ম নাছির উদ্দিনসহ ২৫জনের নাম উল্লেখ করে মোট তিনশ জনকে আসামী করা হয়েছে।
পুলিশ সূত্র জানায়, মামলার বাদীর নাম মো. ইউনুছ। তাঁর বাড়ি হাটহাজারী উপজেলার পশ্চিম ধলই ইউনিয়নে।
মামলার এজাহারে বাদী অভিযোগ করেছেন, তাঁর দ্বিতীয় স্ত্রীর প্রথম ছেলে মো. ইউসুফ ঝর্ণাপাড়া আইস ফ্যাক্টরি সড়কে বরফের কারখানায় কাজ করতেন। গত বছরের ৫ আগস্ট সন্ধ্যা ৭টার দিকে ইউসূফ দেওয়ানহাট এলাকায় বিভিন্ন দোকানে বরফ সরবরাহ করার জন্য যাচ্ছিলেন। রাত সাড়ে ১১টার দিকে ইউসূফের স্ত্রীর বড় বোন তার স্ত্রীকে ফোন করে জানান, বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলন চলাকালীন সময়ে দেওয়ানহাট মোড়ে গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়ে ইউসূফ মারা গেছে। তাকে চট্টগ্রাম মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে (চমেক) নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়েছে। পরে বিভিন্ন দিকে ‘আন্দোলনের কারণে গন্ডগোল থাকায়’ চমেক থেকে মরদেহ অ্যাম্বুলেন্সে গ্রামে বাড়িতে নিয়ে যায় তার পরিবার। গ্রামে গিয়ে তারা ইউসূফের বুকের মাঝখানে গুলিবিদ্ধ দেখতে পান।
মামলার অন্য আসামীদের মধ্যে রয়েছেন, সাবেক সংসদ সদস্য মহিউদ্দিন বাচ্চু, এম এ লতিফ, সাবেক কাউন্সিলর মোর্শেদ আক্তার চৌধুরী, ওয়াসিম উদ্দিন চৌধুরী, তৌফিক আহম্মেদ চৌধুরী, আরশাদুল আলম বাচ্চু, জাফর আলম চৌধুরী, আবদুস সবুর লিটন, নগর ছাত্রলীগের সাবেক সাধারণ সম্পাদক নুরুল আজিম রনি, আওয়ামী লীগ নেতা দিদারুল আলম মাসুম, ডবলমুরিং থানা ছাত্রলীগের সাবেক সভাপতি মোস্তফা কামাল টিপু প্রমুখ।
ডবলমুরিং থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) কাজী রফিকুল ইসলাম জানান ‘গত বছরের ৫ আগস্ট বিজয় মিছিল পরবর্তীতে দেওয়ানহাট মোড়ে এক শ্রমিক গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়ে মারা গেছেন। ওই ঘটনায় তার বাবা ইউনূচ বাদী হয়ে সাবেক শিক্ষামন্ত্রীসহ ২৫ জনের নাম উল্লেখ করে অজ্ঞাত আরও ২শ’ থেকে ৩শ’ জনকে আসামি করে একটি হত্যা মামলা দায়ের করেছেন। মামলাটি তদন্ত করে আইনগত ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হবে।
